วิธีการล็อคโฟกัส

กรณีวัตถุข้างหลังสว่างมาก จะเห็นว่าหน้าต่างจะสว่างกว่าตัวแบบ ถ้าหาวัดแสงไปที่ตัวแบบเลยจะทำให้ภาพมืด แก้ไขโดยการวัดแสงที่เก้าอี้แทน แล้วล็อคโฟกัสไว้
ในกล้องดิจิตอลบางตัวจะพบคุณสมบัติของ AF illuminator ซึ่งจะยิงแสงออกไปจากกล้องดิจิตอลเองเพื่อช่วยให้กล้องหาโฟกัสได้ดีขึ้นในที่มืด แก้ปัญหาการโฟกัสผิดพลาดเมื่อถ่ายภาพในที่แสงน้อยๆ ได้ดี
